The summer the Gulf War ended, my family and I took a trip to Washington D.C. What a hot mess of issues:
+sister had pink-eye, called a doctor to the hotel
+borrowed car infested with ants, had to bug bomb it in hotel parking lot
+we were on floor 15 when 3am fire alarm had us walk down stairs & outside one night at hotel
+the day we left DC, car popped 2 cars at Monticello, waited all day for new tires
+ended up in crap hotel with dirty pool that night (bad idea to swim)
+woke up at midnight, horrible ear ache
+trip to the ER where doc told me “that’s the worst ear infection I’ve ever seen”
