Granblue Fantasy: Relink Update Adds New Characters, Quests

Cygames announced a free major update for action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The Version 1.2.0 update adds two new playable characters: sword user Seofon and bow wielder Tweyen. They can be unlocked by completing in-game requirements or paying for the relevant Character Expansion Set DLC ($4.99 each). The update also includes two new quests featuring new monsters that reward treasure used to unlock Seofon and Tweyen, plus additional paid emote and item DLC sets. The update contents were showcased in a presentation, alongside a tease of the forthcoming Version 1.3.0 update.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG based on Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy smartphone title and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game takes place in the Sky Realm, a world of a myriad floating islands. It follows the male or female main protagonist after they come to the rescue of Lyria, a mysterious young girl who has escaped from the Erste Empire, and end up with Lyria’s life force linked to theirs as they search for a fabled island beyond the skies called Estalucia.
