9th Dawn Remake in Development

Independent developer Valorware announced that it is working on a remake for 9th Dawn. The 9th Dawn Remake will feature 2.5D graphics, a first-person mode, remade dungeons, rewritten story, two new mini-games, and many other changes compared to the original game. 9th Dawn Remake is set to release later this year on PC via Steam. To celebrate the announcement, 9th Dawn III: Shadow of Erthil‘s has been discounted by 50% on Steam until May 1, 2024.

The original 9th Dawn is a fantasy RPG set on the island of Montelorne. Players assume the role of an adventurer, who searches for hidden treasures and helps the Montelornians in need while facing the threat posed by rising undead armies. 9th Dawn features an action-based gameplay through a top-down perspective and an open-world experience. Players can choose from a variety of classes for their character, each with its own playstyle.
