Midgar Studio released a new media update for its Kickstarter-funded RPG, Edge of Eternity. One video it chose to highlight featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of its soundtrack. The music was performed by the Bratislava Symphonic Orchestra, with composers Yasunori Mitsuda and Cedric Menendez overseeing procedings.
In addition to the behind-the-scenes soundtrack video, Midgar Studio also provided a new set of screenshots, plus some work-in-progress gameplay footage. The screenshots come from an assortment of locations in the game, while the new gameplay footage shows a boss battle using the latest version of the game's combat system.
Edge of Eternity is being developed for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game does not currently have a set release date, though the developer initially planned for a release in late 2016.
