Digital Store Weekly Round-Up



Welcome to RPGamer's weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

New Releases

Following the surprise PC release of Chrono Trigger, there is also the PC version of Cyberdimension Neptunia, while Where the Water Tastes Like Wine hits PC, Mac, and Linux. Meanwhile, Xbox One receives Darkest Dungeon and Pit People, with the latter also on PC. Finally, the Switch receives another port in the form of Arc System Works' Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo. In addition, a demo is now avaialble for The Alliance Alive on 3DS.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation store features a new Critics' Choice sale, with PS Plus owners receiving extra discounts on various titles released in the last few years such as The Witcher 3, Pyre, and Horizon Zero Dawn. PlayStation owners in Europe get another week of the PS4 sale and Games Under €10 sale, which both started last week.

The Xbox Store only has one RPG on sale this week, with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning available for $5 for Gold members on 360.

For Nintendo owners in America, budget 3DS title Brave Dungeon remains the sole RPG on sale. Nintendo of Europe also just has a couple of budget 3DS titles on sale in Adventure Bar Story and Mercenaries Saga 2.

The current Steam sales include Zeboyd Games' earlier titles Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World, as well as Winter Wolves' Loren the Amazon Princess. has the first two Konung games, as well as pirate RPG Blood & Gold as its only RPGs on sale. Finally, The Humble Store has a few lower key titles on sale, the biggest name being Dex.
