God Wars, The Lost Child Head to Switch in North America, Europe


God Wars: Future Past

NIS America has announced that it will releasing the enhanced version of Kadokawa Games' God Wars: Future Past for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe. The game will be released as God Wars: The Complete Legend in fall 2018, with a limited edition available to pre-order from NIS America's Online Store for $54.99 that contains:

  • God Wars: The Complete Legend for Nintendo Switch
  • God Wars: The Complete Legend Mizuho Melodies soundtrack sample CD
  • Hardcover art book 
  • Collector's box

God Wars: The Complete Legend includes all of the original content of the game and its upcoming The Legend of Yomi expansion, plus new playable characters, a boosted maximum party size to eight from six, faster battle speed, unlocked level and skill limits, New Game Plus elements, extra story episodes, new endings, and new music. The Legend of Yomi expansion will also be released as DLC for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, as will the other enhancements present in The Complete Legend.

On top of this, NIS America also announced that another upcoming Kadokawa Games title, The Lost Child, will be coming to Nintendo Switch. The game will receive a digital and physical release for the console in summer 2018 alongside the previously-announced PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions.

God Wars is a tactical RPG based on Japanese mythology originally released in 2017. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Joshua Carpenter's review of the PlayStation 4 version. The Lost Child is being developed by certain staff members who previously worked on El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron and follows occult journalist, Hayato Ibuki, who is given a mystical device that allows him to capture celestial and arcane creatures. He is thrown into another world containing demons and other beings and must venture through dungeons called Layers.
