Well, I spent my whole weekend having an absolute blast at Anime Central while all the newsie types were off at E3. Several people claimed that they would come and stalk me, but despite the fact that I was tinkering with the huge model of Eva 01 right at the front of the line to the costume contest, and hanging around the award winning Ohmu costume after it, not one person came up and asked me if I was me. I guess that means you're all mentally healthy... or that you just failed your stalking skill rolls like me, I was sitting right next to a big pile of famous people for about 3 hours at one point and didn't realize who any of them were. ANYWAY, I had a blast, got to see the rest of Escaflowne, bought the first season of Slayers, and saw a few episodes of Those Who Hunt Elves (hilarious show, and any plot summaries you've heard are VERY misleading), and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. The only things I can complain about are the travel problems, and the Dude Looks Like A Lady video, while pretty darn good, didn't QUITE do as good of a job with the premise as it could have. No Dilandu, no Tsubasa.

Now then, today I didn't get home until fairly late, and, wouldn't you know it, Brad screwed up the mailto link. While it said Ask Google, it was still linked to his account. So, I didn't get much today. Actually, I probably DO have enough to throw together a halfway decent column, but quite frankly, I've had about 8 hours of sleep in the last 3 days, plus running about like crazy, and on a plane most of the day. So, I'm just going to save what I have for tomorrow, and make an extra big and impressive column because it will be... <drumroll> my 100th Q&A column! OK, I don't really care that much, I'm just using it as an excuse to get everyone to send me cool stuff and so I can squeeze one last day out of my party mindset left over from the weekend. 8)

By the way, no, that is not me in the Ohmu, and I didn't make it or the Eva. 8)
