Ubisoft's South Park: The Fractured but Whole launches this week, with the publisher putting out a launch trailer and details of the game's DLC season pass. The season pass will be available to purchase from launch and is included as part of the game's Gold Edition on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The Season Pass will provide access to three main pieces of content. Danger Deck (to be released December 2017) will put players in a combat challenge in Doctor Timothy’s Danger Deck, letting them unlock exclusive costumes and artifacts. From Dusk till Casa Bonita (to be released in 2018) adds a new story where the player teams up with The Coon and Mysterion to defeat a demonic presence at Casa Bonita. Finally, Bring the Crunch (to be released in 2018) adds another new story, including an all new superhero class. It will also include the Relics of Zaron costume and perks pack as well as Towelie: Your Gaming Bud, which provides in-game tips.
The Fractured but Whole is the follow-up to 2013's The Stick of Truth, exchanging that game's traditional turn-based combat for a more tactical, grid-based version. The game picks up the day after its predecessor, where the New Kid is recruited to one of two superhero teams each bent on securing a movie franchise. The game is due out tomorrow, October 17, 2017.
