Square Enix has released a new trailer for Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 Professional, the enhanced version of the Nintendo 3DS title. This new trailer is a CG trailer using original visuals not from the title, though it comes off the back of some recently announced changes from the base version of the game.
In Joker 3: Professional, over 700 monsters will be available, 200 more than the previous game in the series. This includes monsters from Dragon Quest X and some original designs. Monsters able to be ridden can now do so over all types of terrain rather than just favorable ones. New high level areas of the game are also being added. Other smaller features include a story skip function, allowing players to jump to any point in the story, increased field and battle speed, and the abilitiy to import monsters from the previous game.
Originally released in Japan on 3DS on March 24, 2016, Joker 3 is the final planned game in the Joker subseries. The Professional version is set to arrive in Japan on February 9, 2017. There has still been no announcement on a release in the west.
