Paradox Interactive has announced the release date for Obsidian Entertainment's latest RPG Tyranny. The game will come to PC, Mac, and Linux on November 10, 2016. A new teaser trailer was released alongside the announcement.
Pre-orders are now open for the game in three different tiers. The Commander Edition will retail for $44.99/£34.99/€41.99 and includes the game and selected ringtones. The Archon Edition will up the price to $59.99/£44.99/€54.99 and adds the digital soundtrack, a digital high-resolution map, four unique in-game war banners, a collection of short stories, and high-resolution wallpapers. The third and final tier is the Overlord Edition, which contains everything from the Archon Edition as well as a digital collector's guide and a digital art book. The price for the Overlord Edition is $79.99/£60.99/€73.99.
Tyranny is an RPG that takes place in a world where the villain has already won. As the evil Overlord's Fatebinder, players will travel through the land of Tiers choosing whether they wish to enact the Overlord's will, help the many pockets of resistance, usurp the Overlord, or maybe even something else.
