Independent developer Ackk Studios recently released two new videos for its upcoming release of YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG. The two videos feature fully-voiced cutscenes with Anthony Sardinha voicing Claudio and Andrew Fayette voicing Rory in the first video, while Chris Niosi voices Alex, Clifford Chapin voices Michael, and Melanie Ehrlich voices Vella in the second. It should be noted that both videos were taken using a pre-alpha build of the game, which resulting in a few graphical issues in the footage.
YIIK is planned for release this winter for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Wii U. The game is set in the 1990s with main protagonist and college graduate Alex Eggleston discovering various colourful hidden worlds. The game uses a turn-based battle system involving a party of up to eight members, with some unconvential weapons including panda plushies.
