With Mordheim: City of the Damned, the tactical RPG based on Games Workshops' tabletop game, exiting Early Access in just a few days, developer Focus Home Interactive has released a trailer that highlights the game's single-player modes. Solo play will include both procedural missions and four campaign modes, one for each faction.
The campaigns will each be led by a Dramatis Personae, a hero unit unique to the faction around whom the story is focused. As players travel across Mordheim completing missions, they will earn rewards that will allow units to upgrade their skills and armor. In addition to the usual enemy warbands, special enemy units will appear to combat the player as well.
Mordheim: City of the Damned is currently finishing up its stay in Early Access with a full release later this month. The current price for the game is $31.99/£23.99/€31.99 but when the game hits full release the price will increase to $39.99/£29.99/€39.99.
