The first piece of extra downloadable content for Aterdux Entertainment's old-school RPG, Legends of Eisenwald is now available on Steam. Road to Iron Forest begins with the death of Gustav Platte, the player character's uncle. Following Gustav's estate being divided up according to his will, the player character receives a sword and a small container containing a suspicious metal oak leaf and a map.
Road to Iron Forest adds a new map, adventuring location, and storyline to the base game and is priced at $4.99/£3.99/€4.99. Players also have the option to buy the Legends of Eisenwald Season Pass, which offers access to all future DLC (with at least two more pieces planned) for $14.99/£10.99/€14.99.
Legends of Eisenwald is a tactical RPG originally released in July 2015 that uses a hexagonial grid for its combat. In the game, each move action also doubles as an attack. The game features a non-linear story with over fifty hours of gameplay as well as a scenario editor that allows players to create custom scenarios.
