Kickstarter is currently playing host to campaigns for three very different turn-based RPGs. Whether they're into third-person or first-person views, fantasy or post-apocalyptic settings, RPG fans who are tired of today's action combat focus might be interested in checking these projects out.
Lords of Xulima is an isometric party based RPG with an mythologically influenced setting. It has already been fully funded on Indiegogo, so the game is definitely coming out. This Kickstarter was started to give more people access to the game and to attempt to reach various stretch goals.
Here is the pitch video and official trailer for Lords of Xulima:
Deathfire: Ruins of Nethermore is a fantasy RPG spearheaded by veteran RPG creator Guido Henkel. It is a party based game with a first-person perspective, plenty of dungeon crawling, and a story filled with political intrigue.
Finally, Graywalkers: Purgatory is a post-apocalyptic game in which Heaven and Hell have merged with Earth. It is a strategic/tactical RPG in which the player will control a squad of up to 36 characters.
