XSEED Games has announced that Ys: Memories of Celceta is coming out for the PlayStation Vita on November 26. On the PlayStation Blog, XSEED's Tom Lipschultz explained how the game's title is relevant.
The game begins with Adol, the famous red-haired swordsman, losing his memory. On his journey through the Great Forest, he recovers the story of his past and learns what he's supposed to be doing by finding and touching memory orbs. Some of these memories even include childhood moments that will teach us entirely new things about Adol's past.
Adol will need all the help he can get in sorting out his memories while political intrigue swirls around him, so the party system found in Ys Seven returns, allowing players to switch between party members in battle.
Ys: Memories of Celceta can be purchased for $40 on the PlayStation Store and at retail. A collector's edition is also available for $60, including a strategy guide/art book, soundtrack, cloth map, and compass. A final image of the collector's edition can be seen here.
