It may have been forgetten by many amidst all the talk about newer Square Enix MMOs, but Final Fantasy XI is still alive, and now it is getting ready for its newest expansion. Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin, the fifth major expansion for the game, will be released in North America on March 26, 2013 for both the Xbox 360 and PC platforms, and will be released a day later on March 27 in Europe. While it will be supported for the PS2 in Japan, it will not get such support in Western regions. The expansion will cost $29.99.
Seekers of Adoulin will unveil a new continent for players to explore and two new job classes: the Geomancer and the Rune Fencer. Anyone who wants to learn more about the new expansion can visit the official site or watch the trailer below.
Square Enix is also preparing a new Final Fantasy XI compilation called the Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition that will contain all of the content released so far for the MMO. This will be released the same day as Seekers of Adoulin and will cost $39.99.
