The US PlayStation Blog has announced another round of PS2 Classics that will be made available for purchase on the PlayStation Network. One of those games of particular note to RPGamers is Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, the first entry in Natsume's farming simulation series to appear on the PlayStation 2.
Like every other Harvest Moon game, Save the Homeland lets the player take control of a farmer who is just starting out. In this game, however, this farmer is tasked with trying to prevent an entertainment company from buying out the town he lives in and turning it into an amusement park. The game also includes the romantic elements that have always been important to the series, though unlike other games in the series the hero can't get married in this one.
