The first Tokyo Game Show of the 21st century has had its schedule finalized on Friday, November 24. Held at the Nippon Convention Center, the show will commence from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the 30th of March to the 1st of April. Unlike previous years, which only allowed people involved in the game industry to arrive on the first day, the Spring Tokyo Game Show 2001 will allow anyone to buy a general admission ticket after 12:30 PM on March 30th.
Though not quite as well known in North America as E3, the Tokyo Game Show is an large media event in Japan that shows off the newest upcoming games.
