The latest chapter in the Legend of Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, arrives in stores around the country today, two days prior to the expected release date. This newest Zelda title requires the N64 Expansion Pack; those who do not already have it will need to get it before playing Majora's Mask. Those who pre-ordered the game will receive a special Collector's Edition featuring a gold Zelda cartridge and a 3D label for the game.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask features similar gameplay to the previous game in the series, Ocarina of Time. However, in Majora's Mask, tasks must be completed within a set time limit, which can be reset by playing the Ocarina of Time. Time plays another important role in this game, as well. Certain events and areas can only be accessed at certain times, meaning that you may have to return many times to the same area in order to complete your goal. Other sidequests and minigames ensure that Majora's Mask should be at least as enjoyable as its predecessor, if not more so.
