Koei Tecmo and Gust have released a new trailer for Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon. This new trailer gives a brief premise for the game before moving onto numerous combat demonstrations of protagonist Aluche's powers. This includes Servans, Lilies, and how the two will interact with Aluche.
Servans are the demons that fight alongside Aluche. In particular, Striker Servans manifest as different weapons that offer new options in combat. By comparison, Lilies are companions with unique skills that add another layer to the party. Aluche will also be able to perform a Double Chase with her Lily when certain conditions are met. Double Chase is a powerful ability that can deal massive damage and help turn the tide of the fight.
Some pre-order benefits have also been announced. Those who purchase the game on the Nintendo Switch in the first three months after it launches will receive a Fatal Frame-themed Yuri Kozukata Outfit. Those who do the same on the PlayStation 4 will receive the Deception Timenoid Restrains Costume. Additional bonuses will be offered to those who purchase Gust' other upcoming title, Blue Reflection. Picking up both titles during launch will allow for Aluche to don the Hinako’s School Uniform Costume and for Blue Reflection protagonist Hinako to take up Aluche's Armor. Steam users will also be able to have these costumes by purchasing the "Gust costume bonus bundle: Blue Reflection & Nights of Azure 2" from Blue Reflection's release until four weeks after Nights of Azure 2's release.
Nights of Azure 2 will be available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 21, 2017, in North America and on October 24, 2017, in Europe.
