Spike Chunsoft announced that its turn-based RPG Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars will be released for PC through Steam on August 16, 2016. The game will be available for $19.99, with those who purchase the game during the first week receiving a 20% discount on that price as well as a mini-OST download.
The game is set in a world under threat from demons that emerge from Dusk Circles. These monsters can be fought by those who have the mark of the Star God, with those who have it all being in their early to late teens and sent to attend a special high special. This includes the game's protagonist, who is discovered to have an abnormal amount of power and a 100% chance at producing Star Children with high-ranked female students. These Star Children join their "parents" in combat as they attempt to close the Dusk Circles.
Conception II was originally released for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe by Atlus USA in 2014. Those interested in reading more about the game can check out RPGamer's review of the PlayStation Vita version.
