A new Japanese trailer has been released by Nintendo for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes on 3DS. The five-minute video highlights various areas where the game's three Links can work together to overcome obstacles, particularly using the special Totem power that lets one Link pick up the other two. The video also shows off a few of the game's costumes, which a Link can don to gain special powers.
Tri Force Heroes is a spiritual successor to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and allows three players to team up locally or online and work together through dungeons. The game also includes single-player, giving control of the other two Links to the AI, although players can switch which Link they are controlling on the fly. Tri Force Heroes in due out in Japan on October 22, 2015, with the Noth American and European releases following a day later on October 23, 2015.
