Muteki Corporation and Choice Provisions have revealed that Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria will be coming simultaneously to Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U via the eShop on July 23, 2015 in North America. Though pricing is not yet known, it has been confirmed that the game will be available with cross-buy between the two platforms.
Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria was originally released for iOS in 2011 under the title Dragon Fantasy Book I before later coming to PC, Mac, Linux, Android, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. The 3DS and Wii U version features improvements made to the previous version in addition to some new ones such as a bestiary and on-screen enemies, with the Wii U version also confirmed to feature off-screen play through the gamepad. Muteki Corporation and Choice Provisions also plans to bring the game's sequel, Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice — formerly known as Dragon Fantasy Book II — to Nintendo 3DS and Wii U later this year.
