The sequel to Harvest Moon spinoff Rune Factory, Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, has been picked up by Rising Star Games for release in PAL regions. The sequel, also for the Nintendo DS, continues and expands on the original Rune Factory.

In addition to developing a farm and your social skills á la Harvest Moon, Rune Factory includes several dungeons to go crawling around in, and even the ability to tame monsters to help out on the farm.
