Namco Bandai Games revealed four new Tales of titles in Japan today. All of the titles below will be released in 2008 except for Tales of Innocence, which will be released at some point in 2007. Moving forward, the Nintendo DS has been announced as the lead platform for all new Tales of titles.
Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut was revealed for the PlayStation 2, though it is unknown what new features this title will include. Tales of Innocence, an all-new title, was revealed for the Nintendo DS. So far, the only character known is named Ruca Milda. Tales of Rebirth, port of the PlayStation 2 title, was revealed for Sony's PlayStation Portable. The last title revealed was Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk for the Nintendo Wii. At this point, it is unknown if this title will be a completely new title or if it will only be a spin-off of the original Tales of Symphonia.
Due to the fact that Namco Bandai is currently holding a press conference for these titles, more info will be available shortly. There will also soon be media posted for these titles as it becomes available to RPGamer.
EDIT - Some new details have been revealed for Tales of Innocence and its 2008 release. Character art is being supplied by Inomata Mutsumi, while the voice for Ruca will be Akiko Kimura and for Iria will be Sasamoto Youko. The opening movie will be done by Production I.G., which is normal for a Tales of title. The game will feature a fully 3D world and will feature a Dimension Stride LMB battle system. Lastly, the theme song for Tales of Innocence will be performed by KOKIA.
A few details have also been revealed for the 2008 Wii title, Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. The game will take place two years after Tales of Symphonia ended and will include the original's cast. There are two new main characters and at some point during their journey, they will meet these other characters. At this point, it is unknown if any of the cast from the original join the playable party.
