The official list of exhibitors for Tokyo Game Show 2005 was announced last week. Many of the major Japanese companies involved with console, PC, and mobile RPGs will be making appearances at the convention, which will be held from September 16-18 at the Nippon Convention Center in Chiba prefecture, just outside of Tokyo.
Notable companies on the list include Atlus, Bandai, Capcom Square Enix, and Ubisoft. This year the show will have a total of 130 exhibitors, up from 117 in 2004. Adding to the excitement of the show is the introduction of the next generation consoles, including possible announcements of new titles for those games.
Also solidified is the event list, which will include keynote speeches on the first day from two executives in the gaming industry: Satoru Iwata of Nintendo and Robert J. Bach of Microsoft's Xbox division. More news on the show as it comes in.
