Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou, the recently announced continuation of the long running MegaTen series, recently went live with its official Japanese website. The site, while not extremely large, does have links to an interview, a characters page, and a media page.
The website aside, some background information concerning the story of Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou has been made public. The selected era and location of this title, while deviating from series normality, were chosen with a purpose: the developement team is attempting to utilize the cultural chaos of the times, namely the influx of western customs and the destruction of traditional Japan, to portray a world of extremes. A main example of this would be the contrast between those who have and those who don't. The driving theme behind the tale will be, interestingly enough, "passion."
Taking into consideration the title's very recent unveiling, it comes as no suprise that no releases of any kind have been disclosed thus far. Stayed tuned to RPGamer for more information as it arises.
