Aksys Games recently posted more details about its upcoming release of Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate for PlayStation Vita in North America. The game is set for release in the region on July 26, 2016, and is part of Spike Chunsoft's Mystery Dungeon series, being originally released in Japan as Shiren the Wanderer 5 for Nintendo DS before an enhanced Plus version was released on PlayStation Vita.
Highlighted in its latest post on the official PlayStation blog is the game's multiplayer modes. Two players are able to join up in either co-op or versus mode. In co-op mode, both players work together through a dungeon before taking on a boss on the final floor. However, if one player falls in battle then its a game over for both.
Aksys also revealed that secrets and bonuses can be retrieved from a tanuki in Nekomaneki Village named Pokopon. He will ask for passwords, however, they will not appear in the game itself and will need to be found elsewhere. There will be thirty-two passwords in total, with the first being "Nonary Game".
