Publisher BadLand Indie and developer Anima Project have announced that their upcoming adventure RPG, Anima: Gate of Memories, will release worldwide this June. The game will be available digitally through Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Two physical editions will also be available for the PlayStation 4 version, a standard edition and a collector's edition containing a 20cm figure of one of the game's main characters, a soundtrack CD, a set of twenty-two tarot cards, an extended manual, and a collector's box. Pricing for all versions of the game has yet to be announced.
Anima: Gate of Memories is a third-person action RPG set in the world of Gaia from the Anima: Beyond Fantasy table-top RPG. The game features two playable characters, known as Ergo and the Bearer. Owing to their special synergy, only one of the characters is present at any given time, with players able to swap between them on the fly. They are in pursuit of the Red Lady, a rogue member of their own Order of Nathaniel, after she absconds with the Byblos, an artifact of immense power.
