Indie publisher Versus Evil had a good presence at this year's E3, with a number of RPGs to show. We've got a collection of new media for each of these titles.
First up is Guild of Dungeoneering, a turn-based dungeon crawling RPG from Gambrinous. However instead of controlling the hero, the players takes on the role of dungeon artitect, adding rooms and encounters from cards drawn out of a deck. Guild of Dungeoneering is due to be released digitaly for PC and Mac on July 14, 2015.
Second is Tangrin's Kyn, a traditional RPG based on Norse mythology where players control a party of up to six members. Kyn is planned for release on PC, Mac, and Linux via various digital retailers on July 28, 2015.
The third game is Skyshine's Beldam, a post-apocalyptic RPG from Skyshine Games. The game puts players in the role of the Mechanic, leader of moving fortress called a Dozer, and features tactical combat using the same engine as The Banner Saga. Skyshine's Beldam is set to be released later in 2015 for PC and Mac.
The final game is Stoic Studio's The Banner Saga 2, sequel to the well-received tactical RPG released earlier this year, and the second part in a planned tirlogy inspired by Norse mythology. The Banner Saga 2 picks off following the events of the first game and is set to be released for PC and Mac in 2016, with its predecessor set to receive releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One this year. RPGamers should note that the two intro videos below feature potential spoilers for first game.
