Indie developer Twelve Tiles' conversational RPG, Last Word, is now out on PC via Steam. The game, in which encounters are resolved through conversation rather than physical combat, can be downloaded for $9.99/C$12.99/£6.99/€9.99, with a bundle that also contains the soundtrack available for $11.99/C$12.99/£8.99/€11.99. A 20% discount on both options is available until May 15, 2015.
Last Word puts players in the role of photographer Whitty Gawship. Invited to a party hosted by Professor Chet Chatters along with a group of elite conversationalists, it is soon discovered that the Professor's latest invention allows him to get the last word in any conversation. Players must emerge from challenging chats with other party guests and uncover the mysteries behind the party and the Professor's creation.
