Blizzard set the release date for the console version of Diablo III. The game will be simultaneously released in the Americas, Europe, and Australia on September 3, and will be available for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will launch with the suggested retail price of $59.99.
The console version of Diablo III will come with almost all of the content that is available in the PC version of the game, including what has been added in year since it was originally released. However, the controversial Real Money Auction House is being removed for this version. It will also feature full local co-op play, so up to four people can play together using the same console, and smaller groups of local players are still free to fill out their team with online players.
