Square Enix has released a playable demo of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Players will be able to sample the game's various systems while running around Traverse Town.
Two new systems that can be tested out in the demo are Flowmotion and Reality Shift. Flowmotion allows the characters to perform acrobatic feats both around the world and in combat. Reality Shift freezes time and allows the player to use the 3DS touch screen in order to manipulate the world. In Traverse Town, Reality Shift allows the player to slingshot objects and enemies around.
Gamers interested in this demo should download it soon, as demos are usually only available on the eShop for a limited time. The game itself comes out in Europe on July 20 and North America on July 31.
