Nintendo Europe has announced an official release date for Xenoblade Chronicles. The game is set for release on September 2, 2011 for the Nintendo Wii.

Nintendo has also announced a limited edition pre-order for the game. This limited edition includes a red classic controller, three signed posters, including one by Tetsuya Takahashi, Monolith Soft's president and Xenoblade Chronicles' executive director of Xenoblade Chronicles. The pre-order also features a reversible cover, with alternate art as voted in by fans.
