Last week Square Enix held a tournament for Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy in Japan. Halfway through it the attendees were shown a demo play session for future PSP title Final Fantasy Type-0. The following video shows this footage, along with director Hajime Tabata introducing the game beforehand. Tabata goes through the game's basics, shows off some battles, takes a look at the multiplayer aspects, and flies around in an airship.
Speaking of Dissidia Duodecim, the fourth form costume for the character Gilgamesh was also shown and given to the attendees of the tournament as a parting gift. It is based on Type-0's Gilgamesh character. It is unknown when or if this costume will be made available to all players.
