Atlus has recently announced a new multiplayer RPG, Dokapon Kingdom, for the Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii. The game is scheduled for release on October 14 and puts player against player as they try to save the kingdom of Dokapon from monsters attacking towns and stealing the empire's wealth. The hero able to save the kingdom will get the ultimate reward: the Princess Penny as their bride and the Dokapon crown.
Dokapon Kingdom is a party game, allowing up to four players to battle each other in the board game-RPG crossover. Players will be able to collect rare items, fight monsters, and level up in RPG fashion with an easy to learn and innovative combat system. Atlus has also called this game the friendship-destroyer, letting players battle, steal, and deface each other by playing dirty in challenges. The game also promises, once you've beaten your friends and lost them as friends, to be just as fun alone. For more information, RPGamers can check out the official website.
RPGamers can also check out the impressions of the game from Michael "Macstorm" Cunningham, Mikel Tidwell, Anna Marie "Paws" Neufeld, and Cole Jones.
