In a recent interview, director Hajime Tabata and character designer Tetsuya Nomura revealed further details concerning the upcoming PSP title, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. The fourth installment in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII is 90% complete, according to Tabata. All that remains is compressing data to fit on a UMD.
When asked about the game's length, Tabata said that the main storyline will take around 30 hours to complete, but fully completing Crisis Core will take around 100 hours. Tabata further indicated that Crisis Core may not signal the end of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII; that decision is in the hands of Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura. Finally, Nomura spoke of a special edition of the game.
