Marvelous Interactive has announced a sequel to Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, which is soon to be released in North America. The aptly named Rune Factory 2 is currently being developed by Neverland, who also developed the original title, and is scheduled out at some point in 2007.

Set in the same world as the original title, very little is known about the game so far. For new information as it's revealed, readers may take a peek at the game's Japanese website. As mentioned before, this title will be released in Japan at some point during 2007, while the first title will be released in North America during July.
