A Japanese commercial made it known today that Mother 1 and 2, (2 is known as Earthbound in North America, while part 1 is exclusive to Japan), are coming to the Game Boy Advance. Adding to the natural excitement caused by such news, the commercial announced that Mother 3 was also in production for the GBA.

The release date advertised for Mother 1+2 is June 20th, and the cartridge will retail for 4,800 yen (about $40). No release date or price was mentioned for Mother 3. No mention was made of bringing the games outside of Japan, and no plans to resurrect the previously cancelled Earthbound 64 were addressed.
