Back in September of last year, Ubi Soft announced that it will be publishing an RPG in the Evolution series for the GameCube sometime in the first half of 2002. Word has now come out of Japan that the announced title, Evolution Worlds, is nothing but a compilation of Evolution: World of Sacred Device and Evolution 2, which both appeared on the Dreamcast.
There has been no more information from Ubi Soft regarding the North American release of the title. The Japanese version, titled Evolutia: The World of Sacred Machine, will be hitting stores on the 26th of July. Considering this, it should be fair to assume that the game will not be arriving in North America until the second half of the year, at the earliest.
Update (04.22.2002): While Evolution Worlds is set to collect the Dreamcast games, Sting will be providing incentive by enhancing the graphics of the titles and altering the difficulty settings. Gamers can expect other, as yet unannounced, improvements as well.
