Nintendo revealed that Fire Emblem Fates' third campaign, Revelation, will be released on March 10, 2016. This follows roughly a month after the initial release of the game on February 19, 2016. In the base game for Fates, players choose which of two warring kingdoms to support by buying either the Birthright or the Conquest version. The three campaigns are identical up until chapter five, after which it splits in favour of the one of the two factions, or in the case of Revelation, a neutral path against a greater threat.
Fire Emblem Fates' Birthright and Conquest versions will retail individually for $39.99, with players able to download the other campaign as DLC for $19.99. Revelation will also be priced at $19.99 when it releases. A special physical edition containing all three campaigns on a single cart along with an art book will also be released and will cost $79.99. It is not confirmed when this will be released, but the likelihood is it will come out the same time as Revelation.
Nintendo also announced a special Fire Emblem Fates edition of the New 3DS XL handheld console for North America. The console will release on February 19, 2016 at a suggested retail price of $199.99, but will not include a copy of the game.
