Koei Tecmo has released some new media for Toukiden Kiwami, showcasing some of the content that has been added to the original release of Toukiden: The Age of Demons. The media some in both image and video formats, which are viewable below, and focus on the new characters, weapons, and Mitama in the game.
Toukiden Kiwami's new story content takes palce three months after the conclusion of the original game, which is fully included in the release. It marks the appearance of an elite demon-slaying unit called the Hundred Demon Corps. The unit is lead by Soma, who uses a spiked club in battle and has earned full loyalty due to his bravery. He is accompanied by a young slayer called Reki. Reki is usually composed during battle and fights using a naginata. The last new slayer is called Horo, a mysterious girl suffering from amnesia and who uses a rifle against the demonic Oni.
The game also includes more Mitama for players to equip on their characters. Mitama are souls of fallen heroes, providing bonuses to who they are equipped to, and can go up to level twelve in Toukiden Kiwami, compared to the level ten limited in original title.
Toukiden Kiwami is due to be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. It will be released on March 24, 2015 in North America and on March 27, 2015 in Europe.
