Atlus announced that the bonus soundtrack samplers that come with the initial shipment of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey do not play properly. Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Atlus, apologized for the error and stated that, "we appreciate our fans' understanding and patience, and we thank them for their current (and hopefully continued) support."
The company is working with its manufacturing partner to quickly prepare a new batch of soundtracks which can then be sent to replace defective discs. Atlus created a sku on its retail site, which allows affected users to order a replacement disc that will then be shipped directly to the user. The shipments are scheduled to take between two to four weeks for delivery.
