Bethesda Softworks and 2K Games announced today that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has gone gold and will ship to retailers in both North America and Europe on the week of March 20. "Our most ambitious project ever is finally done," said Todd Howard, Oblivion's executive producer. "We're excited to get the game into everyone's hands… We hope they enjoy it. I think it's our best game yet."
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released for both Windows and Xbox 360 platforms, and has been rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB. Both versions have a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $59.99 (approximately 49.86 EUR).
