Japanese Mobile Ports

It was recently announced that Square Enix will be releasing ports of two games for the new FOMA 900i series cell phone. The initiatory installments of both the Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy series will be getting some snappy updates with the graphics being redrawn to fully utilize the 240 x 320 resolution TFT screen which supports 65,000 colors.

If you currently own a FOMA 900i, both games are available for download from their respective game sites which can be accessed for a monthly fee of 500 ¥ starting March 1. The sites will also contain other materials for download such as wallpapers and ringtones.
