GameCube owners thirsting for a quality RPG experience should be happy to learn that development
is currently underway on a Skies of Arcadia port of the original Dreamcast game. U.S. developer
Point of View Software has been contracted to handle the conversion. The GameCube version is not likely to stray from the original's design, though no official word regarding potential changes has been given.
A PlayStation 2 Skies of Arcadia port is also on the way, and both versions are reported to be set
for release in Japan on May 10. The GameCube port is scheduled for a late 2002 North American release.
