Starting March 16th and continuing through April 7th, Japanese Pokémon fans will have the chance to get some extra rare creatures with Nintendo's "Pokémon Eggs" program. For a limited time, Nintendo will provide these "eggs," which will create Pokémon data on players' games. Which particular Pokémon will be released is unknown until the egg encounters the data already on the system, but this could give players a great chance to collect those rare creatures they had been missing.
In order to receive an egg, the interested player must bring a copy of Pokémon Gold, Silver, or Crystal. In addition, the player must be past a certain point in the game, and they must have no more than five Pokémon in hand. Interested players should be able to get these eggs during the entire period at the Pokémon Centers in Tokyo and Osaka.
