Sega's eagerly awaited Dreamcast title, Sakura Taisen 3, has been given a definite release date. Japanese gamers will be able to pick up the game on the 22nd of March for a suggested price of 7800 yen. The game will feature a number of new systems, including Analogue LIPS and ARMS systems. Analogue LIPS is a system based upon the strength of emotions, while ARMS results in more action-oriented battles than a standard RPG would feature.
In addition to the innovative battle system, there will be visual enhancement as well;
Sakura Taisen 3's graphics will be augmented by the addition of the Portable Movie Tron concept, which allows quicker data transfer when there is Visual Memory inserted in the controller. Neo CG will also be introduced, a technology combining CG and animated cartoon sequences for an even better-looking game. Despite these features and the potential it has to be a very good RPG, at this point, Sakura Taisen 3 has no planned North American release.
