The game follows the story of Sword, a hero who must control the unstable time portals of a new dimension and return its people back to their own time. Time Stalkers takes players on a journey through various parts of time and space, such as medieval Europe and ancient Egypt, as the heroes progress along their quest.
Time Stalkers features six playable characters and many other characters who help you during your journey. The game provides randomly generated dungeons for a different experience each time you play. Time Stalkers also utilizes the Dreamcast VMU for many mini-games, which can be used to power up your characters.
