In good news for RPGamers, the Dreamcast‚s RPG count keeps increasing. Sega recently divulged information on a new action RPG called Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream. The game follows a girl who must escape from the "Napple World," a dimension that exists between our world and the dream world. Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream features gameplay with a unique twist: a six-time continuum, based on the past, the future, and each of the four seasons. Each sector of the continuum features its own stories and events, which will give the game a high replay value. Napple Tale‚s main character will battle her enemies with a heart-shaped racket, and will be accompanied throughout the game by Puffet, her fairy helper.
Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream features character design by Mootan, a popular Japanese comic book artist. Yoko Kanno, whose musical résumé includes such anime series as Macross and Cowboy Bebop, will compose the game's musical score. Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream's theme song will be sung by popular anime and video game voice talent, Maaya Sakamoto.
